Come With Me Read online

Lifting her leg, he stepped between them and rubbed his cock head into the moist heat of her vagina, much as she had their first time together. But this time, he was in charge. And he liked it that way. Over and over again, he dragged the wide sensitive head of his dick up and down her slit, rubbing against her pussy lips, coating himself with cream, bumping and humping against her clit until she was mindless for him. Then he picked up her other leg, both of them draped over his forearms and he nailed her to the wall.

Lacy’s gasp of complete pleasure echoed in the room. She was hot, wet, unbelievably tight and he couldn’t slow down. He rammed into her over and over again. Sex had never been this good. Angling his head so he could latch on to a nipple, Jake suckled at her breast while he pumped his hips, thrusting in and out, over and over until they were both right there. “Come with me, baby. Come with me.” Feeling her flutter around his cock as she came was the best feeling in the whole world. One he wanted to experience again and again.

Lacy dug her fingernails into his back. She felt wild and hungry. God, how had she lived without this so long? It felt so good. He felt so good. “Jake, I’m coming!” She cried as she shattered in his arms.

“I’ve got you, baby. I’ve got you,” he groaned into the side of her neck as he gave himself over to the most mindless pleasure imaginable.

That night, they slept better than they ever had before. Lacy woke up before Jake and just basked in the feeling of being close to someone. His body was so big and strong, she could just curl herself around him, fitting her body to his. For a few moments, she just luxuriated in the reality of him. She had her head on his shoulder and one arm wrapped around his waist. His leg was bent and fit in between both of hers as she lay on her side facing him. In fact, her pussy was open and kissing the hard muscle of Jake’s thigh and it occurred to her that all she’d have to do would be to move ever so slightly and it would feel so good. Just the thought of it made her wet. Running a hand across his chest, she wished he’d wake up. The sun was rising and there was a little light filtering into the room between the curtains. As her eyes adjusted to the breaking dawn, she saw that there were parts of Jake that were alert and at attention. Biting her lower lip, to contain a giggle, she saw that he was hugely erect, hard and tenting the sheet. “Good morning,” Lacy whispered.

  Dare she?

Never before had she been privileged to have someone in her bed, in her arms, at her whim and pleasure. All of those romance novels she’d read and all of the research she’d done to learn more about sex came pouring back and she couldn’t resist. Kissing his shoulder, ever so lightly, Lacy slid her hand under the sheet until she could wrap her hand around his cock. Just the feel of it in her hands made her excited. Would he mind?

Ah well, she couldn’t ask permission without waking him up…so…

Jake laid there and tried to be still. He really tried. Opening his eyes to the narrowest of slits, he marveled as Lacy began to pleasure herself, and him at the same time. With the cutest, sweetest little grunts, she flexed her hips and rubbed her pussy on his leg. At the same time, and not with the smoothest rhythm, she began to jack him off. Jake continued to let her think he was asleep, the only move he made was to push his head back into his pillow and curl his toes. His thighs involuntarily stiffened because the pleasure was un-fuckin’-believable. Jake had to steel himself to not capture her mouth, flip her over and bury himself balls deep in her tight little pussy.

Lacy’s eyes were crossing. She had this tremendous urge to bite him. Ah, what the hell, it was time for him to get up anyway.

When Jake felt her little teeth sink into him below his collar bone, he lost it. He simply lost it. “Morning, sunshine.” He smiled, grasped her by the waist, rolled her over and entered her, all in one fell swoop.

  “Jake. My, God!”

“Just Jake will do,” he muttered as he captured her mouth, crashing their lips together. Rising over her, he began to fuck her. There was no other word for it. There would be plenty of times he’d make love to her, he had big plans, but right now he needed to fuck. The little wild cat had set things into motion, things that she was gonna just have to deal with. You don’t poke the bear unless you want to get bit, and this bear was ready to devour her.

A ferocious satisfaction took hold of him and he began to move inside of her, claiming, mastering, pummeling her body with stroke after stroke. She loved it, he could tell, because she clenched him tight with her internal muscles, her body raining its approval all over his cock. A delicious tension seized him as he pushed into her, pulled out, his body caught up in a primal rhythm. Sliding his hands under her ass, he raised her up, angling her body to receive him even deeper. “God, this is so good, so good,” he gritted the words out through his teeth.

Lacy lay beneath him, completely dominated, completely controlled. And there was nowhere else she’d rather be. “Jake, you’re so good, so big. I love how your cock moves inside of me.” She just wanted him to know how he made her feel.

When Jake heard her words, he lost it completely, hammering into her. Lacy was so primed, so excited, so intent on Jake that she let her hands rove over him, rubbing, caressing, letting her nails score his skin. Her lips weren’t still either. She kissed his mouth, sucking on his neck before finally giving in to her erotic curiosity and licking his nipple which was right in front of her face.

When Jake felt her soft little tongue, he went wild, thrusting and bucking, fucking her so hard the top of her head hit the bedstead. Automatically, he placed his hand between her and the head of the bed to protect her, but he didn’t let up, he couldn’t. And when she shimmered in his arms, clutching his shoulders, burying her face in his neck, he spilled himself inside of her, shaking with the most powerful orgasm of his life.

Jake held himself over Lacy, remaining inside of her, kissing her lazily. “I’m glad we got all this worked out.”

“You’re so romantic.” She was teasing. Honestly, she was just thankful to be in his arms.

“I could be, if I had the sufficient motivation.” He teased back, but in his head, he was already thinking of ways he could charm her. From what little he knew of her past, romance hadn’t played a big part. Maybe it was time for that to change. They had a lot to talk about. He suddenly wanted to know everything about her he could. Which, Jake had to admit, was not like him at all.

“What kind of motivation would that be?” Lacy couldn’t think of anything she didn’t want to do with him or for him.

Cuddling her close, he sighed. “I think I’d do just about anything for one of your smiles.”

Lacy felt all the breath rush from her lungs. Face it, she’d just fallen in love with Jake Knight.

  CHAPTER ELEVEN

After their morning ‘workout,’ Jake was insistent they get off resort property. “We’re not on duty for a few days and if we hang around, we’ll get sucked back into working.”

“So, what do you want to do?” She was pretty much game for anything if it involved Jake.

“Let’s go stay at my cabin and play it by ear.” Mostly he just wanted to be alone with her. “That is, if you want to be with me.”

There wasn’t anything Lacy wanted more. “Let me go to my condo and get some clothes and then run to my office. I want to check on Eden, Cody and the girls before we go.” All she could think about was how Eden had looked and how nervous Marnie had been. She wondered if things had worked out for them as well as it had worked out for her and Jake. Lacy hoped so.

“Where did you put my pie?”

Jake’s question caused her to snort. It was just like a man to be thinking of his stomach at a time like this. “I put them both in the staff refrigerator.”

“Give one to somebody if you want to, but bring the other so we can have it later. I don’t want you leaving them in that refrigerator. Barnes raids it all the time, just like it belongs to him. And I’ll be damned if that old barnacle ends up with my pie!”

  “Ye
s, dear.” She stood on tiptoe to kiss him. “I’ll be right back.”

“Okay, I’m going to pack my stuff up. I won’t be needing this place.” He winked at her. “If I stay over at the resort, I can sleep with you. Right?”

A thrill shot through her. “Right.”

“Hurry back.” Lacy almost skipped away. She was so happy, she felt ten pounds lighter and five years younger. And that was all good. Not wasting a second, she let herself into her room and threw some things in an over-the-shoulder overnight bag. This time she didn’t take as long selecting outfits. Being with Jake had given her a new outlook on life and a new self-confidence.

Heading out, she walked to the main clubhouse. As soon as she walked through the doors, she saw Kay. “What are you doing here? You don’t usually work on weekends.”

Kay looked sheepish. “I came in specifically to see if you were angry with me.”

Lacy smiled—big. “Do I look angry?”

Grabbing her heart, Kay exhaled a big breath. “Thank, God. I was so scared.” Taking a second look at Lacy, she put both hands on her hips and gave her a sidewise glance. “Denise and those other girls seemed so certain that you taking my place was the right thing to do. What happened? You look too happy.”

“Can one be too happy?” she asked the rhetorical question. “Jake and I got together.”

“And?” Kay pressed her for more, walking closer.

“Should we be doing this? Denise isn’t here.”

Kay waved her hand. “We’ll catch her up next week. I can’t wait.”

“Well.” Lacy smiled and bounced on her toes. “Let’s just say I had an ‘explosive’ Fourth of July.”

“Orgasmic?” Kay couldn’t help but ask.

“Red, Hot and Boom!” Lacy whispered. “Now, I have to go. He’s waiting for me.” Just saying that felt good.

“I want details, later.” Kay made her promise.

Lacy went to her office and took out both pies, finding a basket to put them in. The other, she decided to take to the suite where The Right One girls were staying. She had to walk carefully, her arms were loaded. As she headed to the north wing, she met Eden coming down the hall. “Hey!”

Eden looked terrible. “Hey, Lacy.” It was obvious she’d been crying.

Lacy stopped at a side table in a small seating alcove. “What’s the matter?”

“I think I’m going to have to quit my job.”

  “Because of Dr. Trahan?”

Eden shook her head. “No, because of me. Of how I feel.”

“Oh, no. What happened?” She put her arm around the woman. “Some of the other guys from work were here. We met in the bar for drinks after the auction.”

“You and DeQuincy didn’t go out?”

“No.” Eden shook her head. “I knew we wouldn’t. This was just a business thing for him.” She wiped her eyes. “After we’d had a couple of drinks, Remy started picking at me about things and I got mad and I admitted…I admitted…”

“What did you admit?” Lacy didn’t understand.

“I admitted I loved DeQuincy.” Eden started crying, not silently, she was boo-hooing.

“Oh, no.” She hugged Eden hard. “Was this bad?”

“The worst.” Eden hiccupped. “DeQuincy just looked at me and denied it. He said I didn’t love him and if I did, I needed to get over it.”

That ass! Lacy thought. She felt so guilty. Lacy felt so guilty. If she hadn’t insisted Eden take part in the auction, maybe none of this would have happened. “What are you going to do?”

Eden took a deep breath. “I’m going to take his advice. I’m going to get over it, I’m going to get over him. I’ve given him too much of my life already.”

Lacy didn’t know all the details, but from what she was hearing, that sounded like a pretty good idea. “Can I get you anything?”

“No,” Eden whispered, shaking her head. “I’m going to go check out a day early and I’m taking some time off, do some thinking.”

“Okay, that’s probably a good idea. Will you call me?” Lacy stood up with her.

“I will and I’ll be okay.” Eden assured her.

Lacy stood and watched as she left. With a big sigh, she picked up her things and went on, hoping she’d find things had gone better with Marnie.

Tapping on the door of the suite, she waited. Raised voices from the inside gave Lacy the uneasy feeling that she’d find more of the same.

  Disaster.

Cody flung open the door. “What!?” Lacy didn’t get her mouth open before Cody calmed down. “Sorry, Lacy. Come in.” Today she looked different. For the first time she had her hair pulled back and was wearing no makeup. The scar on her face stood out—livid. It wasn’t that she looked bad, it just surprised Lacy and she made the mistake of staring. “Beautiful, aren’t I?”

Her sarcastic voice shocked Lacy. “Yes, you are,” she said, meaning it.

“Yea, right.” Stepping back, she left the door open. “Come into the war zone. If you dare.”

The room did indeed look as if a battle had taken place. Clothes were strewn everywhere. Glasses half filled with drinks were sitting about. Trinity was on the phone, pacing back and forth in front of the window and Marnie was nowhere to be seen. “I was leaving for the weekend and I just wanted to talk to you all before I left. I brought you a pie.”

Cody seemed to come to herself. “Thanks. Oh, how did it go?”

Lacy had no doubt she was speaking of Jake. “Wonderful.” Actually, she felt guilty for saying so. It seemed she was the only one who was experiencing any type of happiness at all.

“Good.” Cody sat down on the couch and buried her face in her hands. “I’m glad.”

“Can I help?” She didn’t know how, but she was willing.

Trinity hung up the phone and joined them. She was visibly shaken. “When it rains it pours.”

“I don’t understand.” Lacy was really getting worried.

“After the auction, David and Marnie were dancing when David got a call.”

“What about?” The suspense was killing her.

  “Marnie’s house burned down.”

  “My God!” Lacy gasped.

“David took her and they hurried back, but I don’t think anything was salvaged.” Cody explained and looked sadly at Trinity. “And that’s not all.”

Lacy was afraid to ask. She didn’t have to, because they weren’t through. “Our loan didn’t go through and Crockett is the one who stopped it.”

“I don’t understand.” Lacy didn’t know too much about their private lives, but they were opening up to her. She wanted to be their friend.

“Crockett and Trinity have a history,” Cody muttered.

“That’s putting it mildly.” Trinity poured herself a glass of wine. “Just wait till I see him. He’s going to be sorry he ever met me.”

“Just as soon as we can get this place picked up, we’re heading out of here. We’ve got a lot of damage control to do.” Cody stood up and hugged Lacy. As if she had just now remembered the events of the previous afternoon, she asked, “So, what happened with you and Jake?”

“We got together.” That was putting it mildly.

“Ah, a love connection!” Cody smiled, sort of a sad smile, but a smile nonetheless. “I knew it.”

“I hope everything turns out okay. If there’s anything I can do, please don’t hesitate to call.”

Cody stared out the window. “We’ll be back. We’re not giving up, we’ve just got a few things to work out before we can go further.”

There was something else and Lacy was waiting for Cody to explain. “Are you okay?”

Cody laughed. “Oh, I’m just dandy. The man I’ve been talking to online, the one who’s never seen this…” She turned her scarred face to Lacy. “He’s on his way to Louisiana.”

“Oh, Cody.” She put a comforting hand on the other woman’s shoulder. “This isn’t the end of the world. You’ve got such a pretty face.” As soon as she
said it, Lacy could tell that was the wrong thing to say.

“I don’t know what I’m going to do. It feels like the end of the world to me.”

“I’m sorry to do this.” Trinity walked back up. “But we’ve got to get on the road. If I don’t get this mess straightened out with Crockett, we’re going to lose our investment.”

Lacy got up to leave. “I hope everything goes okay. And I want to thank you all for what you did with the event and the auction. You helped make everything better for me.” She just wished she could make everything better for them.

“No worries.” Cody pulled her hair back over her scar and straightened her dress. “We’ll survive. You take care and enjoy that man of yours. I knew you belonged together from the moment I saw you both standing there with your mouths wide open, protesting my theory of the laws of attraction.”

“We owe you, Cody. This Fourth of July will be a night we’ll never forget.”

  * * *

Jake was just about to lead Lacy into his house where he was anticipating a weekend filled with good food, good company and better sex, when she balked.

  “Wait. What about the snake?”

He snorted when he saw her eyes bugged out at him. Jake pulled again, but she resisted, digging her heels into the rough wood of his porch.

“I didn’t know you were such a cute little chicken.” Shaking his head, he chuckled. Hating to have to confess his duplicity, he blew out a breath. “Okay, I’ll tell you the truth.” She narrowed her eyes as he laid it on the line. “I knew there was nothing in the house because I patched the hole where the snake came in right after I caught him and threw him back outside. The night you were here, I told you that fib so I could run in and pick up my dirty laundry off the floor and shove the dirty dishes in the microwave.” He expected her to be pissed.

“You did?” Lacy smiled. “You were trying to impress me?”

Jake was surprised. She didn’t look angry, she looked pleased. “Yea, I wanted you to like me.”

This time when he tugged, she followed, very pleased. To find out Jake had been as anxious to connect with her as she had been with him was amazing. Giving him a teasing look, she leaned in to whisper, “Your cleaning ability is what impresses me the most.”
