Ryder's Surrender (Hell Yeah!) Page 30

They thought Christian was through, but he surprised them. “I have just a couple more things to say. One, is that I want you to appreciate your family. I was separated from my brother until it was almost too late. I know it was a surprise to you when you found out that Sebastian and I knew of one another, that we had met – secretly. We didn’t get to spend too much time together before he and Sue were taken from us.” He stopped and reached back for his chair. “I think I need to sit down.” Olivia helped him, then he continued. “Sue found your grandmother’s Bible in the attic of Tebow Ranch. Inside that Bible was my name and a note, a note asking for the promise that if we found it and found one another that we would keep their secret. I can’t say I understand it, I can’t fathom how two people can turn their backs on someone so completely that they don’t even want their own children to remember them. But…that was her wishes. Sebastian chose to ignore them. He came to me – not once but three times, and we were just about to bring the two families together when he and Sue drowned in that tragic flood. This Christmas, I’m going to make a special announcement, so I’m asking all of you to plan on spending Christmas at Tebow Ranch with the other branch of our family. I’ve been waiting to give you some news for a long time.”

When they all began to talk at once, he held up his hand. “No, no, there’s no use to ask – I’m waiting until Christmas to tell you the rest. My surprise isn’t quite…ready yet. But I do want to tell you what I’ve learned from this experience.”

They all leaned in, watching the old man whom they loved with all their hearts.

“Family is everything. Let’s never let life come between us. Let’s promise to never get so angry that we push one another away. If we commit ourselves to loving one another, nothing will ever defeat us.”

He raised his glass and the family broke out in applause, then they rose to their feet, giving their patriarch a standing ovation.

“Oh, one more thing.” He stood again and held his hand out to Olivia, who sat on his right. “I have another announcement.” Christian paused for effect. “Olivia and I are getting married!”

After that – everything just dissolved into laughter, congratulations, and good times. Ryder kept shifting in her seat, trying to find a comfortable spot.

“Something bothering you, Princess?” Gideon asked, feigning innocence.

“No. What could be bothering me?” She squirmed a little more.

Our girl can’t be still, Samson.

“Ryder, do you want a cushion?”

Ryder slapped Samson and Gideon on the knees closest to her. “You two be quiet! I don’t want everyone to know.”

“Know what?” Gideon persisted, enjoying the heck out of the moment.

“That I’m wearing a butt plug!” she said – just a little too loud.

Luckily, no one heard her – except Cato, who was reading lips again. She busted out laughing and Ryder had to give her the evil eye to make her be quiet.

“Just wait until we get home,” Samson whispered in her ear, provocatively.

Ryder stood. “You two need to go play football with the other guys.”

“Okay, okay.” Gideon held up his hands. “We’ll go – but later, later you’re all ours.”

They didn’t get very far. Philip came through the house, rounding everyone up. “Picture! We need to take the family Christmas card portrait!”

A huge wave of déjà vu hit Ryder. This was once a moment she dreaded, now it was about to become one of her most precious memories.

For as the family assembled, while Philip set the automatic timer, while they all arranged themselves and yelled the word – “Cheese!” Ryder wore the biggest smile of all.

For the picture included all the Highland McCoys. The whole family.

  Even Ryder…and her two men.

And now…turn the page for the rest of the story.

  CHAPTER FIFTEEN

  EPILOGUE

Ryder’s wedding day was perfect. Two grooms. Two ceremonies. And one very happy bride.

She really hadn’t given the actual wedding much thought. Some women obsessed over the day itself – over the ceremony, the dress, the flowers…the pomp and circumstances.

Ryder just obsessed over her men. She didn’t care how or where she married them.

She just wanted to be – Mrs. Ryder Duke.

The first ceremony took place at the neighborhood church, well attended with all their family and friends. The chapel was full and many people came out of curiosity.

But the curious found nothing amiss.

Dressed in a beautiful white gown, surrounded by her sisters and her brothers, Ryder married Samson Duke.

Their best man was one very special guy. Gideon.

The second ceremony took place at Falconhead. It was attended only by family and a few close friends. Kali’s husband, Honi, married them in an ancient ceremony, blessing them with a Hawaiian blessing:

This is the day for which you have longed. Love has come to you. What you were seeking, now you have found. Someone to share your days, someone to share your joy. You three are now one. Today is your wedding day.

As Ryder stood between her two men, they each placed a lei around her neck, and she placed one around each of theirs.

Honi explained the meaning to all assembled. “Leis are a symbol of love. With its handpicked flowers, each blossom is twined to the others with love, a reflection of how your own lives will begin to weave together.”

Samson had given Ryder a ring in the first ceremony, but in this one, they would all exchange a ring. Leilani brought up a wooden bowl and gave it to Ryder. Kona and Solomon gave Samson and Gideon a conch shell filled with water from the ocean. Honi took a ti leaf and dipped it into each man’s conch shell, then he placed it in the wooden bowl. “The ring, by nature of its shape, is the perfect symbol of eternity. The circle has no beginning, nor has it an end. These rings will symbolize your devotion and commitment to one another from this day forward.”

Ryder took the rings from the bowl and placed one on Samson’s finger and one on Gideon’s. They, in turn, each placed a narrow gold band on her finger to rest atop the engagement ring.

Gideon spoke first. “With this ring, I promise to grow with you. I promise to build you a world of love. I promise to listen to you and cherish you for all the days ahead.”

Samson spoke next. “I promise from this day forward that you shall never walk alone. My heart will be your sanctuary and my arms shall be your home.”

Ryder began to cry. “With these rings, I thee wed.” She laughed. “Both of thees.” Gazing at the precious rings on her finger, she told them what was in her heart. “We will feel no rain, for we will shelter one another. We will feel no cold, for we shall keep each other warm. We shall never be lonely, for we have one another. We are three, who shall live as one.”

Honi joined their hands, Ryder’s between the two of theirs. “By the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husbands and wife. You may kiss the bride.” When they both made a move toward their bride, he laughed. “One at a time, please.”

Ryder kissed Samson, then she kissed Gideon, then she kissed them both again.

Leilani cried, while Solomon and Kona looked on with pride. Ryder’s own family clapped with joy. Pepper was her maid of honor at both ceremonies, but at the last one, she sang for Ryder. Pepper didn’t sing often, but when she did the angels cried. She sang an old favorite of Ryder’s, Elvis Presley’s Blue Hawaii.

At the end of the day, when everyone else had gone home, Ryder and her two men stood at the top of the tower. From this vantage point, they could see all of Falconhead and beyond, they could see Highlands.

  This was their home.

“Are you ready to go to bed, love?” Samson asked.

“Yes.” She turned to Gideon. “Are you ready to go to bed?”

“I am.” He swept her up in his arms while Samson led the way.

A trinity of passion, a trinity of love.

Three was Ryder’s favorite number.

  SECRET EPILOGUE – Shhhh…

Ryder was delirious with pleasure. Samson and Gideon were taking her higher than they ever had before. Her breasts were swollen from their kisses; and they’d feasted between her thighs until she screamed in delight.

  And now…

“We’re going to take you together, sweetheart. Are you ready?”

“God, yes, I’m ready. I’ve worn that little red…”

“Shhhh,” Gideon laughed, putting his hand over her mouth. “Such language.”

Arranging Ryder on her side, they took their places – one in the front, one in the back.

She placed her leg on top of Samson’s as he slid his throbbing cock into her pussy. “Oh, that feels so good. I’ll never get used to this, it just gets better and better.”

Gideon pressed against her back, kissing her shoulder. “That’s because we love you more and more every day.” With the greatest care and the utmost gentleness, he eased his aching cock into her backside.

“Oh, sweet heavens,” she cried, feeling Gideon push into the place they’d been carefully preparing for weeks. She reached back and grasped his thigh as he worked his way past the tight ring of muscles.

“Are you okay?” Gideon whispered, his eyes closing in ecstasy. “You’re so tight, I might pass out from the pleasure.”

“I feel so full, so complete.” Ryder just gave herself over to the experience. She was right where she wanted to be, between her men. Surrounded. Protected. Loved. As they moved within her, the feeling was so right. She pressed her face into Samson’s chest, while Gideon feathered kisses on her neck and shoulders. “I won’t last, this feels too wonderful,” she gasped, her body tingling, ecstasy radiating out from her sex, to her nipples – to her toes.

As they moved in tandem, loving their woman, the breaking news on the television announced that the Ryder-V had made a successful landing on Mars. History had been made. The Dukes had gone where no man had gone before.

“Are you cumming, sweetheart?” Gideon held her tight, his own release only seconds away.”

“Oh, I am, I am!” she cried. “Come with me, Samson! Come with me, Gideon!” They met her sweet demands, giving her everything they had, all the love she would ever need.

For long moments after, they lay together, their hearts beating as one. Finally, Ryder sighed. “Whew, that was intense! I can’t believe I was afraid. I loved it. I don’t know why I couldn’t just trust you two to take care of me.”

“We’ll always take care of you, Ryder,” Samson said, staring into her big, blue eyes.

  “Always,” Gideon vowed.

Ryder’s surrender to love was complete.
